for Training Purposes
Pursuant to section 59 (2) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following statement:
"On 12 March 2002, I, the Honourable Dr Michael Cullen, Minister of Finance, gave an indemnity in favour of Auckland International Airport Limited, under an agreement between the New Zealand Defence Force and Auckland International Airport Limited which will allow New Zealand Defence Force personnel access to the airport for training purposes."
