Pursuant to section 78M of the Education Act 1989, I hereby direct the Secretary for Education to appoint a limited statutory manager to Miramar North School (2916) because of risks to the operation of the school.
The limited statutory manager shall have vested in him the necessary functions, powers and duties of the board to enable him to:
(a) conduct the performance appraisal of the principal;
(b) review and implement necessary changes to the staff appointment processes; and
(c) review and implement necessary changes to all personnel policies.
The limited statutory manager must advise the board on:
(a) the effective operational procedures of the board of trustees; and
(b) the developments and implementation of strategies to manage relationships among trustees, staff and the community.
This notice takes effect the day after the date of publication.
