Pursuant to Regulation 6 (2) of the Fisheries (South Tasman Rise Orange Roughy Fishery) Regulations 2000, the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries, hereby makes the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice is the Fisheries (South Tasman Rise Orange Roughy Fishery Annual Catch Limit) Notice 2002.
(2) This notice comes into effect on the date of its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Interpretation-Terms used in this notice have the same meaning as defined in the Fisheries (South Tasman Rise Orange Roughy Fishery) Regulations 2000.
3. Annual catch limit-The annual catch limit for the high seas area of the South Tasman Rise orange roughy fishery for the season starting 1 March 2002 is 500 greenweight tonnes.
