Notice of a Variation of a Scheduled International Air Service Licence

Pursuant to the Civil Aviation Act 1990, the State Sector Act 1988, and a delegation from the Secretary for Transport dated 29 March 2000, I give notice that John Gibson Bradbury, Deputy Secretary Air Services in the Ministry of Transport, has exercised the power conferred by section
87Q of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, to vary the terms of
the Scheduled International Air Service Licence issued to Air Calédonie International in order that it may operate:
Capacity:
For Route (a), (New Caledonia to Auckland and/or Christchurch), 1 weekly frequency with any aircraft type or up to 2 weekly frequencies with aircraft the capacity of which does not exceed 300 seats, and
1 additional weekly frequency with any aircraft type during 15 weeks within a 12 month period;
Note: Capacity offered for Route (a) by way of code-share arrangements on frequencies operated by a designated airline of New Zealand shall not
be considered in the calculation of operated frequencies, provided that a New Zealand carrier is offering an equal amount of code-share capacity on Air Calédonie International;
For Route (b), (New Caledonia to Auckland and optionally beyond to Papeete), 1 return service per week with any aircraft type.
This amendment took effect on 25 February 2002.
Signed at Wellington this 25th day of February 2002.
JOHN MACILREE, Principal Adviser, Infrastructure and Services, Ministry of Transport.
