Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962 and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976,
and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by
the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand
dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice:
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Westland District) Notice 2002.
2. The road specified in the Schedule is declared to be a closely populated locality at all times for the purposes of section 52 of the Transport Act 1962.
3. The Traffic (Westland County) Notice No. 2, 1969* dated 13 March 1969 and issued pursuant to the Transport Act 1962 and the Traffic Regulations 1956 is revoked.

Situated within the Westland District at Ruatapu:
Butler Road: From the northern end of Butler Road to a point 120 metres northerly, generally, from State Highway No 6.
