Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager Safer Roads, give the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Far North District) Notice 2002.
2. The roads specified in the Schedule are declared to be closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962.
3. The following notice is revoked:
The Traffic (Far North District) Notice No. 1, 1993.*
Schedule
Situated within Far North District at Awanui:
State Highway No. 1 (Awanui-Bluff): From a point
300 metres measured southerly generally along the said State highway from Gill Road to State Highway No. 10 (Awanui-Pakaraka via Mangonui).
State Highway No. 1F (Waitiki Landing-Awanui):
From State Highway No. 10 (Awanui-Pakaraka via Mangonui) to Spains Road.
State Highway No. 10 (Awanui-Pakaraka via Mangonui): From State Highway No. 1 (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 300 metres measured easterly generally along State Highway No. 10 (Awanui-Pakaraka via Mangonui) from State Highway No. 1 (Awanui-Bluff).
Collard Street.
Duke Street.
Gill Road: From State Highway No. 1 (Awanui-Bluff) to a point 480 metres measured westerly generally along Gill Road from the said State highway.
Long Street.
Matarau Road.
Queen Street.
Southey Street.
Warau Street.
