It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated
5 June 2002 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares those parts of State highway described in the Schedule hereto and, as more particularly shown on plans LAR/10/6/18, LAR/10/6/19 and LAR/10/60/13 and accompanying Schedules held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Wellington, and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.
Schedule
Those sections of State Highway No. 6 in Tasman District:
(a) Commencing at the western abutment of the Mangles River Bridge and proceeding generally in south-westerly direction to a point 190 metres east of the intersection with Grey Street, Murchison (Route Position 239.00 to Route Position 239/3.93);
a distance of 3.93 kilometres.
(b) Commencing at the western abutment of the Matakitaki Bridge at Murchison and proceeding in
a north-westerly direction to the eastern abutment of Doughboy Creek (Route Position 239/9.46 to Route Position 239/5.14); a distance of 4.32 kilometres.
That section of State Highway No. 60 that is in Tasman District commencing at the northern abutment of the
Para Para River Bridge and proceeding in a north-westerly direction to the intersection with Bainham Road (Route Position 103/9.93 to Route Position 103/15.83); a distance of 5.9 kilometres.
