Pursuant to section 52 of the Transport Act 1962, and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.

1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Tasman District) Notice 2002.

(a) closely populated localities at all times, pursuant to section 52 (1) of the Transport Act 1962; or
(b) seasonal speed limit areas, pursuant to section 52 (1) (c) of the Transport Act 1962; or
(c) excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act, pursuant to section 52 (2) of that Act; or
(d) excluded from the limitation as to speed imposed by section 52 (1) of the Transport Act, pursuant to section 52 (2) of that Act, and declared to be
70 kilometres an hour speed-limit areas, pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976; or
(e) 70 kilometres an hour speed-limit areas, pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
These plans and legends are hereby incorporated into this notice.
3. The following notice is hereby revoked:
The Traffic (Tasman District) Notice 2000*.
