It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution
dated 1 May 2002 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares those parts of State highway described in the Schedule hereto and
as more particularly shown on Plans LA13/006/996/A, LA13/008/271/A and LA13/008/159/A and accompanying Schedules held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Dunedin, and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.
Schedule
1. In Queenstown Lakes District, that section of State Highway No. 6, commencing at the Frankton intersection with State Highway No. 6A and proceeding in a generally southerly direction to the north abutment of the Wye
Creek Bridge (Route Position 996/0.00 to Route Position 1011/0.00); a distance of 16 kilometres.
2. That section of State Highway No. 8 that is:
(a) In Central Otago District, commencing at the south abutment of the Lindis Bridge and proceeding in
a generally southerly direction to the Cromwell intersection with State Highway No. 8A (Route Position 271/0.00 to Route Position 297/0.00);
a distance of 21.25 kilometres.
(b) In Waitaki District, commencing at the southern
end of the Ruataniwha Spillway and proceeding in
a generally southerly direction to Prohibition Road (Route Position 159/0.23 to Route Position 169/14.17); a distance of 23.94 kilometres.
