Pursuant to section 26 of the Hazardous Substances and
New Organisms Act 1996, the Environmental Risk Management Authority hereby determines that the following is not a new organism:
Phaeodactylum tricornutum (Bohlin, 1897).
The Auckland University approval to hold Phaeodactylum tricornutum within containment (approval code NOC001522) therefore ceases to have effect.
