Pursuant to Regulation 90 (1) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, I, John Richard Wolf, Vehicle Compliance Officer, hereby exempt the motor vehicles of Class NA and all Classes in Groups L and M from the requirements of the Regulation 69 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, subject to the conditions specified in the Schedule of this notice.
Schedule
Conditions
(i) This exemption only applies to vehicles owned and operated by the Metro Emergency Services Museum Trust.
(ii) Subject to (iii) below, any bell, siren or whistle must not be used while the vehicles are operated on public roads.
(iii) Any bell, siren or whistle may be used only while the vehicles are operated in parades or exhibitions.
(iv) This exemption expires when the vehicle changes ownership.
(v) This exemption may be revoked at any time.
(vi) A copy of this notice must be carried in the vehicles at all times and be readily available for inspection.
