Determination of Pricing Principles of the Designated Access Service

On 30 January 2003, the Minister of Communications, Paul Swain, requested that an investigation be commenced by
the Commerce Commission ("the Commission"), pursuant to Part I of Schedule 3 of the Telecommunications Act 2001 ("the Act"), to determine whether the initial pricing principle of the designated access service
"Bundle of retail services offered by means of Telecom New Zealand Limited's fixed telecommunications network"
should be amended.
Pursuant to clause 1 (3) of Schedule 3 of the Act, the Commission gives public notice that it has decided, under clause 1 of Schedule 3 of the Act, to commence an investigation to determine whether the initial pricing principle of the designated access service
"Bundle of retail services offered by means of Telecom New Zealand Limited's fixed telecommunications network"
should be amended.
