The Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice 2002

Pursuant to sections 52 (1) (c) and 52 (3) of the Transport Act 1962, and Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976, and pursuant to an authority sub-delegated to me by the Land Transport Safety Authority of New Zealand dated 9 June 1997, I, Peter Graeme Croft, Manager, Safer Roads, give the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Traffic (Selwyn District) Notice 2002.
2. The roads specified in the First Schedule are declared
to be closely populated localities for the purposes of section
52 of the Transport Act 1962.
3. The roads specified in the Second Schedule are declared to be 70 kilometres an hour speed limit areas pursuant to Regulation 21 (2) of the Traffic Regulations 1976.
4. The Traffic (Paparua County) Notice No. 1, 1985, signed on the 14th day of January 1985* issued pursuant to section
52 of the Transport Act 1962, is revoked.
First Schedule
Situated within the Selwyn District at Tai Tapu:
State Highway No. 75 (Christchurch-Akaroa): From a point 50 metres measured northerly generally along the said State highway from Old Tai Tapu Road to a point 80 metres measured southerly along the said State highway from Michaels Road.
Forbes Road.
Hauschilds Road.
Michaels Road.
Old Tai Tapu Road: From State Highway No. 75 (Christchurch-Akaroa) to a point 130 metres measured north-easterly generally along the said road from Michaels Road.
School Road.
Second Schedule
Situated within the Selwyn District at Tai Tapu:
Lincoln-Tai Tapu Road: From State Highway No. 75 (Christchurch-Akaroa) to a point 550 metres measured westerly generally along the said road from Hauschilds Road.
