The Sydenham Money Club Bill

Notice of Intention to Apply for Leave to Introduce a Private Bill
Take notice that The Sydenham Money Club ("the club"), a body registered under the Friendly Societies and Credit Unions Act 1982, intends to promote a Private Bill.
The objects of the Bill are to:
? Place a scheme before the members of the club for conversion of the club into a building society, that scheme to include the allocation to members of rights to shares in the building society;
? Ensure continuity of the rights and obligations of the club when converted into a building society;
? Allow exemptions from certain procedural requirements of the Building Societies Act 1965 to facilitate the conversion of the club into a building society.
The promoter of the Bill is The Sydenham Money Club.
