Pursuant to section 23 of the Public Works Act 1981, the Tauranga District Council gives notice of its intention to take, under the Public Works Act 1981, the land described in the Schedule to this notice.
The land is required for recreation reserve and it is intended to use the land for such purpose.
The reason why the Tauranga District Council considers it reasonably necessary to take the land is because the land
is required for amenity and passive and active recreational needs for the Royal Palm Beach Estate subdivision and other residential land in the vicinity.
Any objections to the taking of this land must be sent by written notice to the Environment Court, Tribunals Division, Department for Courts, P.O. Box 2750, Wellington, within 20 working days after the date of this notice.

Land situated at Papamoa Beach Road, Tauranga, being approximately 1.0 hectare of land contained in certificate of title No. 68C/694.
