Pursuant to sections 50 and 20 (1) of the Public Works Act 1981, and to a delegation from the Minister of Lands,
R. J. Sutherland, Land Information New Zealand, declares that, pursuant to an agreement to that effect having been entered into, the land described in the Schedule to this notice is hereby acquired for a local purpose reserve (war memorial) and vested in the Waimate District Council on the date of publication of this notice in the New Zealand Gazette.
