In exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation under the Reserves Act 1977, the Waitomo District Council notifies the following resolution was passed by Waitomo District Council on 30 November 2001:
"That, under section 14 of the Reserves Act, the Waitomo District Council resolved to declare that land held in fee simple by council and described in the following Schedule, be declared recreation reserve and administered in accordance with section 17 of the Reserves Act 1977."

1.8034 hectares, more or less, being Section 27, Block VI, Marokopa Survey District and Lot 1, D.P. S. 9815, all certificate of title 5B/430, S.O. Plan 18792.
