In exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation under the Reserves Act 1977, the South Wairarapa District Council notifies the following resolution passed by the council on 27 June 2001:
"That under section 14 of the Act, the South Wairarapa District Council resolved to declare that the land held in fee simple by the council below, to be local purpose reserves (community purposes), subject to section 23 of the Act, and the land held in fee simple by the council and described in the Second Schedule below, to be recreation reserves, subject to section 17 of the Act, and the land held in fee simple by the council and described in the Third Schedule below, to be a historic reserve, subject to section 18 of the Act, and to classify under section 16, the land held in fee simple by the council and described in the Fourth Schedule below, to be a recreation reserve, subject to section 17 of the Act".
