Conservation Purposes
Under section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator of the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation and the Commissioner of Crown Lands acting under a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, being the Minister responsible for the department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes.

1992 hectares, more or less, being Section 2, S.O. 301240. Part document 5070191.6. Subject to a grazing permit for a term of 10 years commencing on 30 June 2001 between
Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Commissioner
of Crown Lands, and Mathewson Farm Holdings Limited,
a copy of which may be inspected at the offices of the Department of Conservation at Dunedin.
