Conservation Purposes
Under section 7 (1) of the Conservation Act 1987, the Conservator of the Otago Conservancy of the Department of Conservation and the Commissioner of Crown Lands acting under a delegation from the Minister for Land Information, being the Minister responsible for the department of State that has control of the land described in the Schedule, jointly declare that the land is held for conservation purposes.

Otago Land District-Central Otago District
450 hectares, more or less, being the land marked area "A" on S.O. 24770. Part document 5061479.8. Subject to a grazing permit for a term of 4 years commencing on 20 July 2001 between Her Majesty the Queen, acting through the Commissioner of Crown Lands, and Geoffrey Russell Brown and Joyce May Brown, a copy of which may be inspected at the offices of the Department of Conservation at Dunedin.
