Under section 24 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Wellington Conservancy of the Department of Conservation (under delegated authority from the Minister of Conservation), hereby revokes the reservation for recreation purposes over the land described in the Schedule, and further declares that the land may be disposed of by the Wellington City Council at current market value.
The proceeds from such sale are to be paid into the council's reserves account, such funds to be used and applied in or towards the improvement of other reserves under the control of the council, or in or towards the purchase of other land for reserves.
