Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Christchurch City Council on 24 August 2000:
"That, in exercise of the powers conferred on it by section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Christchurch City Council hereby resolves that the piece of land held by it in fee simple and described in the Schedule hereto shall be, and the same is hereby declared to be a recreation reserve within the meaning of the said Act.

Canterbury Land District-Christchurch City
Lot 1, D.P. 78681, containing 7.0429 hectares, or thereabouts, being all of the land comprised and described in certificate of title 45A/841."
