Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Conservator of the East Coast Hawke's Bay Conservancy of the Department of Conservation notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Opotiki District Council on 22 August 2000:
"That pursuant to section 14 of the Reserves Act 1977, council resolves to classify that land described in the Schedule as local purpose (community building)."

1618 square metres, being Lot 35, D.P. 6105, situated in Block V, Whangaparaoa Survey District.
