Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Acting Community Relations Manager of the Auckland Conservancy of the Department of Conservation cancels the vesting in the Waitakere City Council of that part of the Massey Recreation Reserve described in the First Schedule, classifies the reserve described in the First Schedule as a local purpose (public hall site) reserve, classifies the reserve described in the Second Schedule as a local purpose (community buildings) reserve, and appoints the Massey and Birdwood Settlers' Association Incorporated to control and manage the local purpose (public hall site) reserve described in the First Schedule.
