Under section 8 (1) (a) of the Forests (West Coast Accord) Act 2000, the Minister of Finance and the Minister for
State-Owned Enterprises jointly declare that the land described in the Schedule is held under the Conservation Act 1987 for conservation purposes as a conservation park subject to that Act, as part of Victoria Conservation Park and as an ecological area to be known as Station Creek Ecological Area, to protect extensive tall beech forest and important wildlife habitat at low altitude in the Rotoroa Ecological District.
This notice shall take effect on 1 July 2001.

9081.7337 hectares, being Sections 1 and 2, S.O. 15019 and Sections 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5, S.O. 15048.
