Pursuant to section 24 (1) of the State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986, the Minister of Finance and the Minister for
State-Owned Enterprises, the shareholding Ministers, hereby give notice as follows.
N o t i c e
1. Title-This notice may be cited as the Solid Energy Limited Vesting Notice 2001 (No. 1).
2. Application-(1) This notice applies to the land described in the Schedule to this notice, saving and excepting:
(a) the bed of any lake whose bed has an area of
8 hectares or more;
(b) the bed of any river whose bed has an average width of 3 metres or more; and
(c) any land covered and uncovered by the flow and ebb of the tide at mean spring tides.
(2) In subclause (1) of this clause, the terms "bed", "lake" and "river" have the same meanings assigned to them by
section 2 (1) of the Resource Management Act 1991.
3. Vesting-Subject to section 24 of the Conservation Act 1987, the land to which this notice applies will vest in
fee simple in Solid Energy Limited (a company duly incorporated under the Companies Act 1993, having its registered office in Christchurch, and being a State enterprise within the meaning of section 29 (1) of the
State-Owned Enterprises Act 1986).

All that land being 660 square metres, and being Section
1 on S.O. Plan 10384.
