Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977 and Local Government Act 1974, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Tauranga District Council declares:
(a) That, pursuant to section 16 (2A) of the Reserves Act 1977, the council, on 3 July 2000, approved the classification of the land described in the First Schedule, the Gordon Spratt Reserve, as recreation reserve, subject to the provisions of the Reserves Act.
(b) That, pursuant to section 230 of the Local Government Act 1974, and pursuant to section 15 of the Reserves Act 1977, the council, on 1 May 2000, resolved to exchange 9500 square metres of the Alice Johnson Reserve, Parton Road, Papamoa, as described in the Second Schedule, for 9500 square metres of an adjoining property at Tara Road, Papamaoa, as described in the Third Schedule.

Land to be Exchanged
9500 square metres, more or less, being Lot 1, D.P. S. 88154, being part Lot 1, D.P. S. 25634 (being part certificate of title 8A/1067).
Third Schedule
Land to Become Recreation Reserve in Exchange
9500 square metres, more or less, being Lot 2, D.P. S. 88154, being part Lot 2, D.P. S. 31642 (being part certificate of title 29A/412).
