Under the Reserves Act 1977, the Community Relations Manager of the Canterbury Conservancy of the Department of Conservation revokes the appointment of the Scout Association of New Zealand to control and manage the reserve described in the Schedule, and further changes the classification of the reserve from local purpose (Scout camp) to recreation reserve, and vests the reserve in the Timaru District Council in trust for recreation purposes, subject to the provisions of the Act.
