Territorial Authority
Pursuant to section 24A of the Reserves Act 1977, and a resolution of the Taranaki Regional Council dated
28 February 2001, the Principal Administrative Officer of the Taranaki Regional Council hereby changes the purpose of the reserve, described in the schedule hereto, from a local purpose (soil conservation and river control purposes) reserve to a local purpose (soil conservation, river control and recreation purposes) reserve subject to the provisions of the said Act, and subject to the preparation of a management plan in accordance with section 41 of the said Act and as described in the New Zealand Gazette 1995, page 2125.
