Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, the Whangarei District Council notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Whangarei District Council on 17 August 2000:
"In exercise of the powers conferred on it by delegation under the Reserves Act 1977, the council classifies the reserves described in the Schedule as local purpose (scenic) reserves, subject to the provisions of the Act."
