Change of Classification of Reserve
Pursuant to the Reserves Act 1977, and to a delegation from the Minister of Conservation, the Community Relations Manager, East Coast/Hawke's Bay Conservancy, hereby notifies that the following resolution was passed by the Napier City Council on 15 February 2001:
"That in exercise of the powers conferred on it by sections 14 and 16 of the Reserves Act 1977, the Napier City Council resolves that the land held by the council in fee simple in trust for an endowment and described in the First Schedule hereto is hereby declared to be a reserve, and further classifies the land in the First Schedule as a local purpose reserve (community buildings) within the meaning of the said Act and, pursuant to section 24 of the Reserves Act 1977, the piece of land held by the council in fee simple in trust as a reserve for municipal purposes, changes the classification of the reserve described in the Second Schedule hereto from a municipal reserve to a local purpose reserve (community buildings) within the meaning of the said Act."
