Pursuant to section 12 of the Biosecurity (Bovine Tuberculosis-Cattle Levy) Order 1998, the Animal Health Board Inc. gives notice that the above levy on adult cattle slaughtered in licensed premises is hereby fixed at a rate of $14.00 (G.S.T. exclusive) per head.
This rate of levy will come into effect from and inclusive of 3 September 2001.
The purpose of the levy is to partly fund activities under
the Biosecurity (National Bovine Tuberculosis Pest Management Strategy) Order 1998.
