Pursuant to section 12 of the Biosecurity (Bovine Tuberculosis-Cattle Levy) Order 1998, the Animal Health Board Inc. gives notice that the above levy on adult cattle slaughtered in licensed premises is hereby fixed at a rate of
$10.00 (G.S.T. exclusive) per head.
This rate of levy will come into effect from and inclusive
of 16 July 2001.
The purpose of the levy is to partly fund activities
under the Biosecurity (National Bovine Tuberculosis Pest Management Strategy) Order 1998.
