Pursuant to the authority vested in it by clause 2.5 of Herd Testing Rules (originally promulgated by New Zealand Dairy Board, 23 June 1998, and notified in the New Zealand Gazette, 2 July 1998, No. 89), the database manager did on 21 December 2000, approve the following equipment and methods for purposes of the Herd Testing Rules.
1. Under the list of Approved Equipment, Milk Meters, the following method shall be approved:
"- Electronic (provisional approval to 30/10/01)"
For purposes of Appendix 1, section 3, the Herd Testing Rules, such text shall be read immediately below the words:
"*F.C. 7.7/ML/L"
2. Under the list of Approved Equipment, Sampling Devices, the following equipment shall be approved:
"- LIC Robotic Sampler 2000 (provisional approval to 30/10/01)"
For purposes of Appendix 1, section 3, the Herd Testing Rules, such text shall be read immediately below the words:
"- MMB Dipper"
Pursuant to the authority vested in it by clause 2.5 of Herd Testing Rules, the Livestock Improvement Corporation as database manager hereby provides notification of such change in the New Zealand Gazette.
