Pursuant to section 3 of the State Sector Act 1988
(as amended by the State Sector Amendment Act (No. 2) 1989), Her Excellency the Governor-General, acting on the advice and with the consent of the Executive Council, and on the recommendation of the Prime Minister, has been pleased to appoint
Michael Charles Wintringham, of Wellington
to be the State Services Commissioner for a term of 2 years beginning on 28 May 2002.
