Pursuant to section 95 (1) of the Education Act 1989,
and acting with authority delegated by the Minister of Education, I hereby publish the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Van Asch Deaf Education Centre Board of Trustees, Christchurch, Notice 2001, and shall take effect on the day after its notification in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. The Van Asch Deaf Education Centre Board of Trustees shall be constituted as follows:
? The principal of Van Asch Deaf Education Centre;
? The deputy principal of the school facilities at the Van Asch Deaf Education Centre;
? One staff representative elected by and from the members of the board staff of Van Asch Deaf Education Centre;
? Five parent representatives elected by the parents of students enrolled full-time at the school when the electoral roll or supplementary roll closes;
? One student representative elected by and from the students enrolled in form 3 (year 9) and above; and
? Up to four members co-opted by the board.
3. The Van Asch College Board of Trustees Notice 1992, published in the New Zealand Gazette, 23 April 1992, No. 57, page 1168, is hereby revoked.
