Pursuant to section 162 (5) of the Education Act 1989, and following a recommendation from the Council of Christchurch Polytechnic, I hereby change the name of that institution to:
Christchurch Polytechnic Institute of Technology.
This notice shall come into force on the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
