Pursuant to section 124 (1) (d) of the Social Security Act 1964, the Minister of Social Services and Employment establishes and approves the following Amendment to the Special Transfer Allowance programme (as established and approved on 13 November 2000).

A m e n d m e n t
1. Title-(1) This is the Special Transfer Allowance Amendment 2001.
(2) In this Amendment the Special Transfer Allowance Programme 2000 is called "the programme".
2. Commencement-This Amendment comes into effect on 1 April 2001.
3. Amending Average Regional Rentals-The Schedule of the programme is amended by omitting the figures "138", "117" and "153", and substituting the figures "139", "118" and "152" respectively.

This Amendment to the Special Transfer Allowance Programme 2000, under section 124 (1) (d) of the Social Security Act 1964, amends the average regional rentals as set out in the Schedule of the programme to reflect movements in rentals.
The Amendment comes into effect on 1 April 2001.
