Pursuant to section 59 (2) of the Public Finance Act 1989, the Minister of Finance makes the following notice:
On 22 March 2001, I, the Honourable Dr Michael Cullen, Minister of Finance, did grant to New Zealand Seafood Industry Council Limited and Commercial Fisheries Services Limited an indemnity, pursuant to section 59 (1) of the Public Finance Act 1989, in respect of all losses, damages, costs, expenses and liabilities against those companies which may arise from decisions made in good faith and in accordance with the Registry Services Agreement between the Crown (acting through the Chief Executive of the Ministry of Fisheries)
and New Zealand Seafood Industry Council Limited and Commercial Fisheries Services Limited, as set out in
that agreement.
