Pursuant to section 10A of the District Courts Act 1947, and section 250 of the Resource Management Act 1991, His Excellency the Governor-General has been pleased to appoint
David Fergus George Sheppard, Principal Environment Judge, to retire on 31 March 2001
to be an Acting District Court Judge, to exercise civil and criminal jurisdiction in New Zealand for a period of 2 years on and from 1 April 2001, and to be an alternate Environment Judge of the Environment Court from 1 April 2001.
