Pursuant to section 95 of the Education Act 1989, I publish the following notice.
N o t i c e
1. This notice may be cited as the Kingslea School Board of Trustees Notice 2001. This notice shall take effect on the day after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. The Kingslea School Board of Trustees shall be constituted as follows:
? Up to two members, including a tangata whenua-Kai Tahu representative, appointed by the Department of Child Youth and Family Services;
? Up to two members, one or both of whom would be a person with expertise in effective education interventions for young people with challenging behaviours, appointed by the Manager Student Support, Ministry of Education, Southern Region;
? Two Kingslea School staff members, one the head teacher/principal and the other an elected staff representative; and
? Up to two members may be co-opted by the board taking into account the competencies and skills necessary for an effective board.
3. The "Kingslea School Board of Trustees Notice 1995" published in the New Zealand Gazette of June 1995 at page 1357, is hereby revoked.
