Code of Practice for Roll Over Protective Structures on Tractors in Agricultural Operations
Pursuant to section 20 (3) of the Health and Safety in Employment Act 1992, whereas subsections (3) (a) and (3) (b) of section 20 of that Act have been fulfilled and complied with, the Minister of Labour hereby gives notice that she approves a statement of preferred work practices or arrangements for employers and users to consider when managing tractor roll over hazards under the Act.
These preferred work practices or arrangements set out provisions covering the design, manufacture, fitting, maintenance and identification of roll over protective structures.
Provisions dealing with modified and damaged structures are also set out.
