Disciplinary Tribunal of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand-Member Suspended (Ian Nigel Clarke)

At a hearing of the disciplinary tribunal of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand on 10 May 2001, the tribunal had before it Ian Nigel Clarke, of North Shore City, who is under investigation by the New Zealand Police.
The tribunal resolved unanimously, pursuant to Rule 21.20, to suspend Ian Nigel Clarke from membership on the following terms:
1. The tribunal is satisfied that it is necessary and desirable, having regard to the interest of the public, that Ian Nigel Clarke be and is hereby suspended from the membership of the Institute of Chartered Accountants of New Zealand pending the further order of the tribinal.
2. That following the expiration of 14 days from the giving of notice of this decision to Ian Nigel Clarke, practising variously as Cairns Clarke and Tonbridge Consulting Limited, notice of the suspension be published in the North Shore Advertiser, New Zealand Herald, New Zealand Gazette and the Chartered Accountants Journal of New Zealand.
