Notice of Application for an Order Approving

a Scheme
Under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957

Notice is hereby given that the Methodist General Purposes Trust Board has applied to the High Court at Auckland for an order approving a scheme under Part III of the Charitable Trusts Act 1957, whereby the provisions of the will of Frank Rodger White, electrician of Auckland (deceased), providing a residual gift to the Methodist Church in Whangarei, be varied to allow the applicant to dispose of the residuary gift by way of the formation of a trust, the fund, both capital and income, to be used for such Methodist Church purposes or projects within the general Whangarei District in New Zealand, as the applicant approves, be approved.
The date proposed for the hearing of this application is Wednesday, the 12th day of December 2001 at the High Court at Auckland at 10.00 a.m.
The application and supporting documentation may be viewed at:
1. the High Court, Auckland, Monday to Friday,
9.00 a.m. to 4.00 p.m.; or
2. the offices of Cairns Slane, Solicitors, 156 Vincent Street, Auckland.
Any person desiring to oppose the scheme for variation of the will and disposal of the residuary must give written notice of that intention at least 7 clear days before the above hearing date.
Such written notice must be served upon:
1. the Registrar, High Court, Auckland;
2. the Methodist General Purpose Trust Board, care of its solicitors, Cairns Slane, 156 Vincent Street
(P.O. Box 6849), Auckland; or
3. the Attorney-General, care of the Crown Law Office,
45 Pipitea Street (P.O. Box 5012), Wellington.
