Pursuant to section 34 (1) (a) of the Civil Aviation Act 1990, notice is hereby given that the Minister of Transport intends to make ordinary rules in the following CAR Parts:
Part 121-Air Operations - Large Aeroplanes, requirements for Airborne Collision Avoidance Systems (ACAS), (NPRM 02-092, Docket 2/CAR/2).
Part 129-Foreign Air Transport Operator - Certification, requirements for Airborne Collision Avoidance Systems (ACAS), (NPRM 02-023, Docket 2/CAR/2).
Part 91-General Operating and Flight Rules, use of SSR transponder, (NPRM 02-0402, Docket 2/CAR/2).
Part 121-Air Operations - Large Aeroplanes, requirements for Terrain Awareness Warning Systems (TAWS), (NPRM02-035, Docket 2/CAR/4).
The close-off date for submissions on the proposed rules
is 8 February 2002.
