Pursuant to section 119 of the Legal Services Act 2000, the Legal Services Agency gives notice that the Legal Services Board Criminal Legal Aid Remuneration Instructions 1999 will be revoked from 1 November 2001.
The agency advised the revocation of clause 5 (2) of the Legal Services Board Criminal Legal Aid Remuneration Instructions 1999 in the New Zealand Gazette, 24 April 2001, page 959.
The agency now revokes all other clauses of the Legal Services Board Criminal Legal Aid Remuneration Instructions 1999.
In late October criminal providers listed with the agency were mailed interim information regarding the agency's processes for granting criminal legal aid from 1 November 2001.
Information to replace the Criminal Legal Aid Remuneration Instructions 1999 is now to be found in the Legal Services Agency's Provider Manual and on the agency's web site www.lsa.govt.nz
