It is notified that Transit New Zealand by resolution dated
3 October 2001 and, pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares those parts of State Highway No. 1 described in the schedule hereto and, as more particularly shown on Plans LA/13/001/601/D, LA/13/001/618/C, LA/13/001/667/D, LA/13/001/667/C and LA/13/001/720/B and accompanying schedules held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Dunedin, and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.
Schedule
The section of State Highway No. 1 that is:
(a) at Herbert in Waitiki District commencing at Burgh Street (Route Position 601/12.69) and proceeding generally in a southerly direction to the Waianakarua Overbridge (Route Position 601/15.20); a distance of 2.51 kilometres;
(b) at Hillgrove in Waitaki District commencing at Moeraki Road (Route Position 618/12.18) and proceeding generally in a southerly direction to the Katiki Overbridge (Route Position 618/16.83); a distance of 4.65 kilometres;
(c) at Cherry Farm in Dunedin City commencing at McGrath Road (Route Position 667/2.15) and proceeding generally in a southerly direction to a point 1.48 kilometres south of Apes Road at Kilmog (Route Position 667/5.82); a distance of 3.67 kilometres;
(d) at Merton in Dunedin City commencing at a point 180 metres north of Pryde Road (Route Position 667/11.39) and proceeding generally in a southerly direction to Careys Creek Bridge at Evansdale (Route Position 667/15.38); a distance of 3.99 kilometres;
(e) at Mosgiel in Dunedin City commencing at the Mosgiel Overbridge (Route Position 720/0.00); and proceeding generally in a southerly direction to Braeside Road (Route Position 720/0.99); a distance of 990 metres.
