Pursuant to section 4 (4) of the Forest and Rural Fires Act 1977, the National Rural Fire Authority hereby makes the following notice.
Notice
1. Title and commencement-(1) This notice may be cited as the South Canterbury Rural Fire District Notice 1998 Amendment No. 1.
(2) This notice will come into force on 1 October 2001.
2. Amendment of Rural Fire District Notice-The principal notice is hereby amended by appending to the schedule:
"All those parcels containing 5402.6629 hectares, more or less being: Res 3543 as shown on S.O. 1491; Lot 1, D.P. 58553; Lot 2, D.P. 58554; Lots 3, 4 and 5, D.P. 58555; more commonly known as Geraldine Forest.
All those parcels containing 4588.9109 hectares, more or less, being: Lots 1, 2 and 4, D.P. 43809; Lots 5, 6 and 7, D.P. 43954; Lot 1, D.P. 60168; Lots 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9 and 10, D.P. 60169, and Lots 11, 12, 13 and 14, D.P. 60170; more commonly known as Waimate Forest."
