It is notified that Transit New Zealand, by resolution dated
2 May 2001 and pursuant to section 88 (1) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, hereby declares those parts of State Highway No. 96 and State Highway No. 99 described in the Schedule hereto and, as more particularly shown on Plans LA/14/096/030A and LA/14/099/000/C and accompanying Schedules held in the office of the Regional Manager, Transit New Zealand, Dunedin, and there available for public inspection, to be limited access road.
Schedule
1. The section of State Highway No. 96 that is in Southland District, commencing at the Makarewa Flood Channel Bridge (Route Position 30/0.00) and proceeding generally in a westerly direction to Florence Road, Winton (Route Position 30/18.41); a distance of 18.41 kilometres.
2. The section of State Highway No. 99 that is in Southland District, commencing at the Oreti River Bridge (Route Position 00/6.85) and proceeding generally in a westerly direction to Albany Street, Riverton (Route Position 15/13.41); a distance of 21.56 kilometres.
