2001/13 : Bylaw Regulating the Speed of Vehicles
on State Highway No. 1, Ngauranga Gorge
Pursuant to section 61 (3) of the Transit New Zealand Act 1989, Transit New Zealand hereby amends the bylaw as follows.
A m e n d m e n t
1. This amendment shall come into force 28 days after its publication in the New Zealand Gazette.
2. Delete all text in the Schedule following clause 6 and replace with the following:
Southbound-The section of State Highway No. 1 that is the Ngauranga Gorge at Wellington commencing at Helston Road Bridge (Route Position 979/4.58), extending in a generally southerly direction to a point (Route Position 979/8.16) 270 metres south of the northern abutment of the Ngauranga Southbound Overbridge structure, including the ramps and connections to and from the State highway; a distance of 3.6 kilometres.
Northbound-The section of State Highway No. 1 that is the Ngauranga Gorge at Wellington commencing at the North Island Main Trunk Railway Bridge (Route Position 979/7.33), extending in a generally northerly direction to a point (Route Position 979/4.51) 70 metres north of Helston Road Bridge, including the ramps and connections to and from the State highway; a distance of 2.8 kilometres.
This amendment is made by delegated authority from the Transit New Zealand Authority.
